Why does my cPanel say license file isn't correct?

This sometimes happens after we have provisioned a new cPanel application for clients.   It could be for any of the following reasons:

1. The VPS license for your application hasn't been registered yet.

    This should typically take less than 10 minutes after payment is received to have this completed.  If not, please open a ticket and we will look into it.

2. The hostnames on the server and cpanel are a mismatch

    If you login as root to the server and go to /usr/local/cpanel/ and execute ./cpkeyctl this should temporarily resolve the issue.  You should now be able to login to WHM at [IP HERE]:2086/.  Once there go to Networking Setup -> Hostname -> and click on "Change hostname" this should make the changes permanent and put them in sync.
